Didn't get 05 so cant compare it to that, but I do prefer it to 04 with one exception - same as Slim, the QB precision passing thing just does my head in.

I love the race for the Hiesman feature. Best thing they have added in years and years. What the hell is better then herbstreit and corso calling a game with lots of college band music and the mascot going crazy while you try to have a carrer game with your guy so he can win the heisman while you try to win the national title.

Plus having the different girlfriends is cool. I have the mad ugly one with black hair right now. Some people dont like the 'impact player' feature duting game play, but I think it was a good add.

Anyone who doubts madden 06 -- isn't used to change or the entire madden series. They addressed many huge issues with gameplay in 2005, and fixed them. Vision cone is simulation. It's not arcade, which is why so many people complain. Nuff said, pointless argument with casual gamers who stray from game to game with no real intent on really plaing them.
I havent been able to rent MAdden it's always out, but also I am waiting for the XBOX 360 so I'm not in a rush.
NCAA 2006, I noticed that you can convert on long yards 3rd and 4th down. Havent played it online. Overall I just think it is a really fun game, even if it is a slight arcadish.

I played an online game for the first time today and lost 105-0
OSU sucks. I have no idea why I used them
I took my punishment like a man and didnt disconnect though. The guy I plaed against was sick he had all the jukes and option plays down pat. I dont even want to know how much practice it takes to be that good.
